He did so by distorting the halakhic category of &quot;ger toshav&quot;.  While I applaud the call he issued in your article for tolerance and shuls that will not maltreat gays and lesbians, I wish it&#039;d come from a different source.  Quite frankly, the source of the message degrades the message itself.</description>
